ASSISTED & PRIORITY INVESTMENT AREAS

Parts of the West Midlands are identified as Tier 2 Assisted Areas where gap funding is available to all companies up to an identified aid ceiling as a proportion of total project costs. A higher level of grant is made available to Small and Medium Enterprises.

For areas outside the West Midlands Tier 2 Assisted Areas then financial support is available to Small and Medium Enterprises only.

The Regional Economic Strategy for Advantage West Midlands sets out a number of priority investment areas identified as Regeneration Zones, Investment Corridors and Urban Regeneration Company Areas and the identification of projects in these areas will support the strategic rationale for investment within any proposed project.
